How can I test a rule without placing an order?

Use the Pro Simulator to check enabled policies against a sample address and product without creating an order.

  • Simulator reports whether the supplied address and product are allowed or blocked and identifies the matching policy when blocked.
  • It uses the inputs you provide. It does not confirm shipping rates, payment behavior, or every combination in a multi-product checkout.
  1. Open Simulator and enter a fictional address.
  2. Choose the product or enter the relevant product fields so they match your policy’s targeting.
  3. Set Customer locale if testing a translation, and select Buyer uses a saved address when appropriate.
  4. Click Run test, then change the address or product and compare the result.
  5. After simulation, verify the full flow in a test checkout, especially for mixed carts or multiple delivery groups.
