What can I use HBN: Address Rules for? Which features are available on the Free plan? How do I set up my first address policy? Why does my address rule not show a message when I edit the address? How do I restrict countries, regions, cities, or postal codes?

Which policy wins when several rules match?

Policies run from top to bottom, and the first blocking match supplies the message for each delivery group.

  • Disabled policies and policies outside the product or destination scope are skipped. A matching exception also skips that policy.
  • Allow only these values is local to its own policy. Passing that rule does not override a different policy that blocks the address.
  • Different delivery groups can be checked separately and may receive different messages.
  1. Open Policies and place the most specific restriction before broader rules.
  2. Save any rule edits and confirm a successful update after changing priority.
  3. On Pro, use Simulator to check which enabled policy matches first.
  4. Test the same address with the intended products in checkout to confirm the customer message.
